AIR- DG CARGO AND ITS HANDLING
Dangerous Goods are those articles or substances which are capable of posing a
significant risk to health, safety, property and environment while transported by air.

DG Cargo Regulations (DGR) are updated on a yearly basis by IATA (International
Air Transport Association)
While sending out DG cargo, ensure proper marking and labeling are there on the
package:
- Ensure the following while accepting air cargo:
- Properly investigate before accepting any cargo.
- DG cargo should only be handled by agents with valid license
- Ensure to follow rules and regulations as mandated by DGR.
- Customer to provide 24 hours emergency contact required for DG shipments.
