Kuwait: 3-month extension of residency permits, visit visas from
September 1
Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior announced it will extend residency permits and
visit visas for three months starting on September 1, local media
reported.The extension will be processed automatically via the Ministry’s
online services. The decision was made to avoid overcrowding at the
Residency Affairs department.
COVID-19: E-learning for all students during semester one, says Kuwait

The Minister of Education. Dr. Saud Al Harbi, issued a ministerial decree that
states all classes will be conducted online for the first semester, local media
reported.The decision will be revised in November and will take into account
the health situation of the country. In a press release, Al Harbi said that the
decision affects public schools, religious centers, adult education centers and
private schools that follow the Ministry’s school curriculum.
Travellers from 31 countries banned - passengers from 31 ‘banned’
countries to enter, but rules apply
Kuwait will allow foreigners who are closely related to Kuwaitis to enter the
country even if they come from the 31 countries from which flights are
currently banned, a Kuwaiti aviation official has said.Earlier this month,
Kuwait announced banning entry of travellers from 31 “high-risk” countries
until further notice on instructions from Kuwaiti health authorities.
Banned countries include Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Chile, Colombia, Egypt,
Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Italy, Iran, Lebanon, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan,
Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Sri Lanka among others.
