GENEROUS KUWAIT AND ITS CORPORATE WORLD

The state of Kuwait have donated USD 40
million to the World Health Organization (WHO)
in contribution to fight against the spread of
pandemic COVID -19. The donation came upon
directions from His Highness the Amir Sabah Al
Ahmad Al – Jaber Al-Sabah to help International
communities in combating the deadly disease

Kuwait's largest phone network and internet
service provider Zain, Ooredoo and Viva have
offered a 5 GB per day free internet for the
month of March, and free calls to the same
network, in order to support people in this
challenging and inconvenient phase of life.

Similarly, all the banks in Kuwait postponed the
installments of loans for 6 months and the
interest and fees arising from it will be waived.

It is hard to put into words the emotions and
gratefulness people are experiencing for the
doctors, nurses, and support staff for combating
COVID-19 pandemic to keep our loved ones
safe and sound.

The world is applauding their selfless efforts for
the humanity, these are the real heroes who put
their own life in stake for the lives of million
others.

Al Rashed expresses deepest gratitude and
salute for the self- sacrificing and remarkable
efforts.
