How would you describe yourself when it comes to your work?
I believe I am a very active person who dives into his work with equal
enthusiasm and passion because I love and enjoy whatever work I do.

What kind of challenges do you face on day to day basis?
My seniors and colleagues have high expectations from me as a
performer. To live up to that expectations and challenge me everyday to
do something new, better and impactful is my everyday challenge.

What is the fun part of your job?
Firstly, when you love what you do, then the entire workspace become a place to have fun. Secondly,
Shipping is a new space for me; exploring its mysterious aspects every day is fun, keeping me going.

What is the basic principle you follow in teamwork?
Teamwork comes from a team, so it is significant to have a common team goal. And to execute those
goals, I keep myself available as much as I can to achieve the common goal in the company's best interest.

If you have to summarize your journey in Al-Rashed, how it would be?
As aforementioned, I embarked on my journey in a new field, i.e. shipping, only 2 years ago. It is an
interesting venture, tough and challenging, but with the support of CEO Mr Ravi Varrier and my hard work,
interest and persistence, the journey is quite wonderful and satisfying. Just in a short span of time, I have
learned a lot and gained good experience.

What’s the best advice you got that you hold on to always?
Actually, It’s something I learned in real life and practical dealing with Mr. Ravi. Whatever issues you have
to deal with daily, you must give equal attention to everything without postponing. I became consistent and
never pile up pending issues and act immediately.

What are the major changes you have seen in yourself after working in Al Rashed?
In a short period of time after joining Al-Rashed, I had the scene of ownership to this company and to do
my level best in keeping the success pace high all the time.

Lastly, a message that you would like to share with your colleagues?
After working in Al Rashed during the Pandemic, I now understand that we are fortunate to work in such a
company. We saw around us, so many businesses either closed down or seriously affected by this
pandemic. At Al-Rashed, the management ensured to keep the business running as usual for everyone
and gave employees the impression of job security. I urge my colleagues to strongly give back to this
company and keep working with the spirit of family and teamwork.
