WOMEN'S DAY @ AL-RASHED
Women's contributions and achievements are often undervalued by our society mainly due to deeply rooted
patriarchal values. The gender disparity often is seen out in the blue and hence Women's day was constituted
as a day to celebrate women's achievements. Technically every day should be Women's day- not a day to
celebrate her, but a day where her achievements have the same merit as her male counterpart.
Women’s day is the day to appreciate the unconditional love the women spread around them and everywhere
else. Their unsaid, unrecognized efforts in the betterment of society. More often than not, we don't appreciate
their significant presence in every aspect of our life.
Al-Rashed is not behind in expressing their gratitude towards women. Mr Ravi Varrier (CEO) organized a ladies'
lunch party as a token of gratefulness towards women’s contributions to the organization.
May the women keep striving and thriving in every walk of their life to better themselves and others.
