                               A NEW ERA OF TRANSPORTATION

Hyperloop is a new mode of passenger and also freight transportation that moves quickly and connects with existing modes of
transportation which is faster than an airplane, it can travel in supersonic speeds i.e.1080 kilometers per hour through partially
depressurized tubes and less polluting than air travel which is likely to be up in reality in the year 2020. Elon Musk one of the
Founders of Tesla Motors has published this concept in the year 2012 which was invented by George Medhurst around 1799
           in London.

What’s in for Shippinq Industry with Hyperloop?
Top countries interested in Hyperloop Technology?
Shipping lines are already highly congested and with e-commerce set to be worth trillions by 2020, knowing the potential and
demand to cover the gap, Hyperloop can empower the global economy by providing the services such as direct delivery of
palletized cargo through faster supply and time saving strategy which can benefit industry to hold less inventory, decreasing
the warehouse footprint and the associated operational and overhead costs.
The Chinese government is very interested in Hyperloop because of the technology’s potential to speed up trade. For
instance, Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed a Hyperloop Silk Road that would connect China and Europe
           through Russia.

India has gone a step ahead approving the construction of world’s first Hyperloop “to be finished next year“ also the First
phase of Abu Dhabi to Dubai Hyperloop to be finished next year.11 proposed Hyperloop routes in U.S.A to be operational by
           2020 or 2021.

           Critic’s corner
Riding in a windowless cabin with no standing room might be more like hell.
Why do we need to move cargo at 1080 km/hr?
People are a different matter. People value their time, but cargo doesn’t. People who ship cargo value cost much more than
           time.

Pros: Low power consumption, Low cost transportation, immune to bad weather conditions.
Cons: High Risk & High Maintenance, High speed accidents, possible system failure, Environmental loss.

The future beholds some interesting ideas for transportation and it will be one heck of a ride for sure.
