It was in 1911 that the founder of The Al-Rashed Group, the late Abdulaziz
Abdulmohsin Al Rashed, had laid down the foundation of a trading company
with a commitment to advance and diversify the business. His vision was focused
on the future infrastructure development and industrial rise of Kuwait from a

smal l fishing and pearl diving village to a major oil producing metropolitan state.

Since the discovery of oil in Kuwait, the Al-Rashed Group has been participating

in major infrastructure and industrial government projects. We are a client focused
and service oriented group. The foundations of our business heritage continue
to be based on quality, reputation, customer service and performance. The
highest emphasis is placed on human resources and deployment of the latest in
information technology within the Group’s business operations.

Our team of 300 motivated staffs offers our partners and principal companies
a comprehensive service that included Commercial, Shipping & handling, Travel,

Government and End-user approvals,Technical sales, Project intelligence and
follow-up, Local procurement and logistics, and after sales service and support.
Strengthening trade ties with international manufacturers and suppliers, providing
exceptional services to our customers, and increasing our participation in industrial
and real estate investments, outline our group’s objectives. The privatization

policies of governments in the region present significant opportunities in areas
like Build Operate Transfer (BOT) industrial projects, which we regard as strategic
diversification of our traditional business for future growth.
