CEO'S OUTLOOK
MR. RAVI VARRIER- CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
2020 has been a challenging year for all of us. The world has suffered enough with people losing their livelihoods,
overtly over-exerted hospitals and the economy in disarray.
2020 has seen our lives take a clear shift. Eating out to cooking at home, night outs and movies to OTT platforms, office
going to work-from-home and the likes of it.
2020 has proved that the way the things were, will not work out for us. Living in the past is not going to work. We have to
adapt. Adaptability is key for the years ahead.
2020 has shown us that there is no room for negativity in our lives. It is the positivity in each one of us that helped us to
power through the lockdowns. It is the positivity that has made us evolve our lives into a newer and better outlook in
lives, and that eventually helped us through the pandemic.
Going ahead, despite the vaccines, life getting back to normal is still going to take time.
2021 is the year that in many ways is a New Year for us.
This is the year where we brave through the aftermath of the pandemic. This is the year where we pick ourselves up and
move ahead. This is the year that will give you the realization that not adapting and snuggling into your comfort zones is
going to make your lives take a turn for the bad, if not for the worst.
2021 is the year that you will get a chance to take stock of your lives. Create a plan for each day, what you are going to
do, and how are you going to do it. Then track how much of it have you achieved.
2021 is a year that will continue to remain profitable for the shipping lines, atleast through H1. 2021 is a year that the
logistics companies will have to reinvent and revitalize to grow more.
Adapt or perish- 2021 will be a year that will resonate this idea ever more than before.
The fleeting moments of life makes way right in front of our eyes.
In this time, all we can say in be positive, be optimistic and live your life to the fullest.
