Drive-in Covid vaccination center for today’s launch
Kuwait Center for Rapid Vaccination will offer drive-in COVID-19
vaccination service on the South Island of Jaber Bridge from Sunday,
reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources. They explained that the
center is one of the largest vaccination centers and the first drive-in
vaccination center in the country. It covers an area of approximately
30,000 square meters, and has the capacity to receive 4,000 to 5,000
people per day.

Kuwait’s recent decision to regulate travel and make it restricted for
those who have received two jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine has faced a
lot of criticism because it is limited to citizens and ignores expatriates
who have complied with health protocols and received the vaccines like
others.
Kuwait resumes visas for Pakistani citizens after 10 year
suspension
After a ten-years of suspension, Kuwait on Sunday announced the
resumption of visas, including in family and business categories for
Pakistani citizens.
This decision was taken after a meeting between Pakistan Interior
Minister Sheikh Rashid and Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-
Khalid Al-Sabah, reported The Express Tribune.
Kuwait enforces noon work ban
Kuwait Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) announced, Sunday, it will
enforce the ban on working in exposed areas during noon hours starting
June first until the end of August. The decision aims to protect workers
from the extreme heat, as well as regulating work process not reducing
working hours. The authority will organize a surprise inspection tours on
different locations to monitor any violations and take legal action against
violators.
