G20 leaders pledge fair distribution of vaccines
G20 leaders said they will “spare no effort” to ensure the fair distribution of
coronavirus vaccines worldwide, and support poor countries whose
economies have been ravaged by the crisis. As the pandemic rages, the
club of the world’s richest nations adopted a unified tone on the challenges
ahead during a virtual summit hosted by Saudi Arabia.
COVID-19: Kuwait postpones lifting ban on 34 countries until after
National Assembly Elections
Although no new country has been added to the list of 34 countries banned
from entering Kuwait or opening the airspace with some of them, a well-
informed source said that Kuwait has decided to postpone the ban on the
34 countries until after the elections, Al Qabas Daily reported. The source
confirmed that assessment of the countries is still underway.
Kuwait Airways Operates The World’s First Passenger A330-800 Flight
Kuwait Airways’ rare A330-800 operated its first commercial flight yesterday
(November 20th), flying the short distance between Kuwait and Dubai. This
marks the very first revenue flight ever for the type. The airline has eight of
the long-range widebody on order, the largest customer for the shorter
A330neo.
The Kuwaiti flag carrier used its newest aircraft on a fairly routine service
between Kuwait and Dubai. A simple hop over the Persian Gulf, the
distance between the two cities is just 530 miles or 853 kilometers.

Iraq to build 7,000 schools to curb shortage of educational institutes
The Iraqi government has announced that it plans to build 7,000 schools as
part of its efforts to fill the shortage of educational institutes in the country. A
statement by the media office of Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi
said that al-Kadhimi held a meeting with the Higher Committee for
Constructing School in Iraq to discuss the construction of the 7,000 buildings
across the country, reports Xinhua news agency.

Iraqi-American lawyer, Mais Abousy, set a record on Saturday, November 7,
2020, as the first known woman in the world to complete an indoor Iron
