Kuwait records 28 traffic accidents per day: statistics
Increased road accidents put an additional burden on the health facilities and put
at risk the lives of road users, motorists and pedestrians, especially the accidents
involving ATVs (all terrain vehicles), which particularly puts the life of the user at
risk, reports Al-Rai daily.The Director of Medical Emergencies in the Ministry of
Health, Munther Al-Jalahma, told the daily the department dealt with 10,311 road
accidents during 2019, which roughly calculates as 860 accidents per month or
28 per day.
Digitization ‘key’ to improve Kuwait’s business atmosphere, says Al-
Jassem
Digitization in Kuwait’s Municipality and other state platforms will contribute
immensely to improve Kuwait’s business atmosphere especially in 2020, said
Minister of State for Municipality Affairs Waleed Al-Jassem Thursday.Speaking
on the sideline of an event displaying the digitized system to issue construction
and building permits, the minister said that digitization was a center policy for the
government. He added that the Municipality was working on several fronts to
improve and speed up its services in an efficient and adequate manner.

the capital Baghdad.
Many Iraqis believe that Chinese cars feature quality, affordability and suitability for
the Iraqi weather, especially during the country's scorching summer.
The booming demand has prompted some Iraqi businessmen to take exclusive
selling licenses from Chinese automakers like Chery, Changan and BAIC Group.
"Chery cars have achieved good sales for its modern and safety features, as well as
its beautiful design, especially the Tiggo category which took the lead in the sales of
the Chinese vehicles in Iraq," said Ahmed Basim, sales officer of al-Sadiq Company
which is the exclusive agent for Chery in Iraq.
