LAW OF ATTRACTION-NOT A DAMP SQUIB

Happened to stumble on Rhonda’s ‘The Secret’, which lucidly expounds the Law of Attraction (LOA), after having
endured penury for long.

LOA (Law of Attraction) simply means-whatever you think about in the right frequency, you bring about. These could
be both
pleasant and unpleasant manifestations. Not to confuse it with Length Overall- Shipping nerds, please excuse! How
peaceful and chaotic the world would be if everything one thought of could be manifested! The bibliophile that I am, a
sense of euphoria set in after breathtakingly devouring the contents. Instantaneously, the doubting Thomas in me
popped up asking -will it work? Or will it not?

Thought of taking a stroll in the street, in the hope of bumping into a 20KD (Kuwaiti Dinar) bill. (Applied Law of
Attraction here) The street was lonely and foggy except for a few early morning joggers,since winter had set in. No
sooner had I strolled a few yards than a crisp 20KD bill caught my eyes, lying beside the pavement. I slowed down
and gazed around. No one around, my eyes again rolled on to the bill lying down. It livened up this time invitingly, one
side flipping up rhythmically to the gentle breeze that was blowing. It would have slipped out of some poor soul’s
pocket sans him or her aware of that. Nitty-gritty overrode soul searching and I bent down and frisked it into my
pocket. LOL, arms up, here was LOA working for me!

Nothing succeeds like success! If LOA worked to manifest 20KD bill, it should palpably work for me to hit the raffle. If
the amount intended to attract and win through the raffle, a week ahead and applied online. The week was replete with
angst and trepidation. And finally, the day arrived. With much buoyancy, waded through the list, hoping to strike it rich.

My heart skipped a beat when 7 of the digits coincided with the winning raffle no. Something within me was echoing
that I was almost there!
With great zeal, I continued wading through, but in vain. Nowhere could I find the flip. An ‘aura’ of skepticism pervaded
all over. Wondering why the LOA didn’t work this time, had to pat myself muttering -The LOA is a damp squib!

The flipside of the coin-Given the fact that thoughts are vibrations me to the universe and 60000 thoughts a day find
their way through the human brain, it would be sane to infer that the thoughts which vibrate with the right frequency
scepticism to get manifested. In the former case, the frequency aligned with my Flipside and, in the latter, a frequency
mismatch was certain.
