The month of May marks a significant event for all Muslims across the world.

Eid-al-Fitr.

Eid-al-Fitr marks the end of fasting of the holy month of Ramadan.

30 days engrossed in prayers and fasting from dawn to dusk, immersed in Allah to seek spiritual reflection and self-
improvement with heightened devotion and worship- Eid al Fitr has dawned amidst the COVID19 pandemic.

With the pandemic bringing the life to a standstill, Eid this year gives you an opportunity to reflect deeply.

Eid this year is also a call for celebrating responsibly- maintaining distance with people yet being closer to Allah.
Eid this year is an occasion where you give a fistful of rice to the needy for every plate you have, making yourself
dearer to Him up above.
Eid this year is prayers to all those who are suffering from the pandemic, directly and indirectly.
Eid this year is hope that next Eid will be back to normal with blessings from God to have peace and health all over.

Wishing each one of you joy, happiness, peace and good health for Eid-al-Fitr.
May Allah guide you to light, glory and end of the pandemic.

The month of May will also mark the end of lockdown and the resumption of business in Kuwait. While the recovery will
be slow, I am positive that Kuwait will bounce back into her feet and move into betterment and reduce the reliance on
oil for economic growth.
