REMEMBERING THE EMIR





            Former ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah may he rest in peace ruled Kuwait from 2006-2020,
            making him the 15th ruler of the State of Kuwait. Sheikh Sabah was a wise ruler who was also granted the title of “ The
            Humanitarian  award  from  the  United  Nations”  in  2014.  Former  ruler  of  Kuwait  encouraged  change  in  various  of
            domains locally, regionally, and worldwide. He supported the Kuwait economy by developing new projects such as,
            Kuwait  International  Airport,  Mubarak  Port,  and  built  Kuwaits’  4th  oil  refinery.  On  the  other  hand,  enhancing  the
            knowledge of education and culture was also a prime focus of his. Sheikh Sabah built Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center
            for multidisciplinary reasons, and also initiated in the building of The University of Kuwait. Politically, Sheikh Sabah tried
            to restore the relationship between the GCC countries.
            Sheikh  Nawaf  was  an  experienced  governor,  minister  of  interior  and  defense,  and  former  Crown  Prince  of  Kuwait.
            Nevertheless, we wish for the current ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah all the success as a
            ruler  of  Kuwait.  He  is  known  to  be  modest  and  undeniably  confident  about  his  decision  making  skills.  As  Kuwaiti
            citizens we are certain that Kuwait will thrive as a country under his leadership.

            His highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah former Emir of State of Kuwait, his sad demise is a colossal loss of
            his citizens, residents, to the world and more so of humanitarian. The void his absence has created is irreplaceable. He
            was the epitome of “Global Humanitarian Leader”, his support to disaster relief, peace efforts, and advancing public
            health  across  the  globe  are  inspirational  to  the  world.  His  generous  donation  be  it  the  Syrian  humanitarian  crisis,
            Lebanon - Beirut explosion, Covid-19 pandemic or an immense contribution (GCC) in support of Syrian refugees has
            aided enormously to support humanity. Before becoming Emir of Kuwait, Sabah was the foreign minister. As a foreign
            minister, Sabah restored Kuwaiti international relations after the grievous Gulf War. Being a prolific diplomat, he had
            successfully established Kuwait as the key mediator among many countries in unrest in the Middle East. His every act,
            regulations, an attempt was to bring peace, harmony, and brotherhood amidst inevitable problems and uncertainties.
            Though His highness Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, unfortunately, is not between us, his act of kindness will
            always inspire us to stay human, and his sparkling smiling  face will be live in our hearts and memories.

            Late Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah was a great leader, a statesman and above all a humanitarian leader.
            He earned enormous respect around the world due to his foreign policy and maintaining cordial relationship with all the
            countries.
            Sheikh  Al  Sabah  remained  in  country’s  political  arena  for  long  years  and  was  responsible  for  delivering  Kuwait’s
            diplomacy to the world for over 40 years.
            He was honored and appreciated  for his diplomacy  and  efforts to  iron out issues and differences of unrest countries
            He indeed successfully settled large number of Arab regional and International crises.
            May late Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah’s  soul rest in  peace.
