Kuwait, Egypt, India rank worst for expats in environment and
sustainability rankings
Kuwait has been ranked worst in the Gulf and second worst in the world as a
destination for expats when it comes to environment and sustainability for
2020, according to a survey conducted by Internations International in 60
countries around the world, local media reported. In order for any country to
be included in the sustainability classification for expatriates, it is necessary
to have a survey of at least 75 participants in each country. This year, 60
countries met this requirement and more than a thousand expatriates
participated in the survey.
Kuwait Airways receives first ever Airbus A330-800neo delivery
Airbus has delivered the first two commercial A330-800neo aircraft to launch
customer Kuwait Airways. The two planes with space for 235 passengers
each, were flown from Airbus’ production site in Toulouse, France, to Kuwait
City on Thursday. They join the airline’s existing fleet of Airbus A320,
A320neo, A330-200 and Boeing 777-300ER.
Kuwait to receive first batch of Coronavirus vaccine early 2021
One million COVID-19 vaccines are expected to arrive in Kuwait by early
2021, a government source told Al Qabas. Kuwaiti citizens, health workers,
front line workers, the elderly and people with chronic illness will be given
priority when the first batch of vaccines arrives. The source said that the
vaccines have been developed by three companies, one American, one
German and one British, and have been proven to be successful. In addition,
the vaccines have been reviewed by committees within Kuwait, who stressed
that the vaccines will not be given unless that have been proven to be safe
and effective, the source added.

Iraq To Back Any OPEC+ Oil Production Decision
OPEC’s second-largest oil producer, Iraq, will support any unanimous decision
that the OPEC+ group makes regarding the alliance’s future oil production
policy, Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismaael, as quoted by Reuters.
Earlier this week, a Reuters report said that Iraq, the United Arab Emirates

longstanding history of impeccable compliance.”
